**First, let me just make it clear that I do not own Batman Beyond or the Batman franchise. None of the original Batman or Batman Beyond characters belong to me. The only ones that do are the ones I added to my fanfiction. Neither this blog nor my fanfiction is made with the intent of making any money; all I want is to share my story and writings with the public because they make me happy, and I want them to make you happy as well. :o) Whenever I do someday make money from writing, it will be off of my own original novels. **

Now that the disclaimer's been established...
I want to give some basic information about this blog. This is made by me (DesertedMirage) a Batman Beyond fanfiction writer. I created this blog for my fanfiction story, "Guardian Angel" which can be found on FanFiction.net. The purpose of this blog is to provide more info and insight into the story and to give extras, updates, behind the scenes and all of that great stuff. Guardian Angel, or "GA" in short, is a two-part fanfiction that I began writing when I was 11 or 12, and finished when I was about 15. I'm 20 now, and I decided in May of 2008 to upload it onto fanfiction.net, the website which helped inspire me to write GA in the first place. I was also encouraged by my best friend and fellow writer, Gnitsalreve (AKA "OhGodofWriting" on fanfiction.net), and she has helped greatly with editing and plotting. So after years of writing other stories and leaving GA alone and tucked away on my computer, I finally got around to refurbishing it and posting it chapter by chapter onto fanfiction.net. Since I wrote it a long time ago and my writing has matured, I had to go back and make lots of edits, keeping the same essence and overall plot, but making sure it was fit to read.

I created this blog to expand beyond just the writing in GA, to share with anyone who's interested in the story my fanart (which can be found at the top of the page and the bottom as of now) and music which inspired the writing. The playlists are on the right, and you can find music relating to the story in chronological order. GA has its own playlist, and GA: The Return (part two/the sequel) has one of its own as well. I have some fan videos of the story, including a casting video which shows the actors/musicians I picture in a movie of GA. Also, I hope to have songfics and deleted scenes posted soon.

So hopefully this can turn into a place where you can share your thoughts and comments on the story, and where you can follow its progress as I finish posting it. You can read the story here:
